Roxy’s Newborn Session was one of the sweetest sessions and ever so beautiful. Capturing newborn sessions make my heart melt, and this one was so special for a variety of reasons. I had worked with Harper on a few Interior Design projects when she hired me to capture Roxy’s newborn session and it just so happens we were due within weeks of each other. It was all going to work out perfectly because I was due around 4 weeks after Harper and I couldn’t wait to meet this sweet baby of hers. Well Roxy arrived and Harper called me to capture the session and talk about perfect timing. I was so crazed and trying to prepare for Julian because my Doctor wanted to induce me three weeks early, ahh. I was SO not ready for him to come early at all. I knew I had to go into the hospital on Tuesday August 1st to get induced so when Harper called me, we had a 3 or 4 day window to capture her session before I went into the hospital, timing is everything. So we set a date and it just so happened to be the day before I was getting induced. At that point I was just anxious and ready for this little guy to arrive so this was the perfect distraction, and honestly one of my favorite sessions. Meeting sweet little Roxy and seeing Ford as a big sister just made my heart melt and I had such a blast capturing their adorable family of four. It’s hard to choose favorites from their beautiful session, but here are a few of my top selects. Don’t you just adore their house too, major house goals! I am so in love with everything Harper creates, she is one talented designer.
