I had never been to France until I married Adrien and now I am fortunate enough to get to visit every year! This past April we were going to France to visit his family and I pre-planned a few weeks in France with his family and by myself. I got a cute little AirBNB in Paris for 8 days and I had a blast. I woke up every morning and I would go out and photograph sunrise, or just browse around, get a chocolate croissant, get some coffee and just take it all in. It was such a fantastic trip and I am so blessed I got the opportunity to visit for so long. It was truly perfect timing because I had nothing booked in April so I took full advantage of bringing a few cameras over there and I just photographed my heart out.
I went to flea markets, museums, vintage stores, and I got so inspired by everything that was around me. Talk about inspiration, it’s the perfect country to sight see and get inspired, there is so much creativity in everything you see. Everything is so romantic, so delicate, feminine, historical, and it’s a dreamy country to visit. After my solo time in Paris, Adrien joined me and we visited his family in the Suburbs of Paris, and then I went on to visit his Aunt who raises Angora Goats in La Salesse France. It’s a tiny little town in the middle of the country but so quaint and absolutely beautiful. After visiting La Salesse his parents and I went on to their house in Périgueux which is such a lovely town as well. They took me to see Toulouse-Lautrec museum, Bordeaux, and I was in heaven. Bordeaux has an amazing flea market and while I didn’t get to visit long, it’s my dream to go back there. I could have done some shopping damage so it’s probably a good thing I didn’t stay long. The whole trip was just incredible, I could go on and on for hours about all the places I got to visit, but for now here are some of my favorite personal images from the trip. These are all photographed with my Canon Mark III as well as my Contax 645 camera. Be sure to check back later this week for my post on my favorite family session images from Paris.
